The Rodeo Jamboree is moving downtown! On Saturday, May 18, KGAS Radio will host its annual Rodeo Jamboree in Downtown Carthage starting at 9:00 am. Jerry Hanszen and KGAS will host a variety of local country artists to provide entertainment. From 9:00 am - 4:00 pm downtown merchants are having sidewalk sales, the Texas Tea Room is hosting a chili cook-off and spaces are available for food vendors, arts and craft vendors as well as garage sale vendors. Any local merchant can set up a booth for free in the downtown area. All other vendors will pay $10 for a 10' X 10' space. West Sabine Street and South St. Mary Street will be closed to traffic to allow vendor setup. From 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Don's Photography will take photos of patrons with the PRCA Rodeo Clowns. All merchants are encouraged to participate in the window decorating contest.Mark your calendar because it will be a day of activities for the entire family!
