All Panola County residents may obtain a library card. There is no waiting period for a card. Your first card is free, with each additional card costing $2.00. You must have your card present to check out materials or use the computer.

Residents applying for a library card must provide a picture ID and proof of residence in Panola County. Acceptable examples of ID:
driver's license, ID card, utility bill, insurance card, school or work ID, personal check. Exceptions are offered for the following:
*Students of Panola College
*Panola County landholders with proof of ownership
*Commuters working permanently in Panola County with proof of employment
*Grandparents with grandchildren visiting for the summer

If you do not qualify for a library card, but would still like to access our high-speed internet, a temporary pass may be obtained with proper picture identification. This pass does not allow you to check out materials from the library, and expires one week from the date issued.
