For non-profit organizations, complete the application at least seven (7) days prior to event. A permit will be issued at City Hall.  (See Teresa) This permit will need to be present at the fundraiser.

ALL fundraisers must complete an application and have a permit on site the day of the event according to City Ordinance below:
 
Sec. 46-65. - Permit Required; Not less than seven days prior to the date desired for soliciting, submit a complete application to City Hall for a charitable solicitation permit. This form shall require the charitable organization to provide its full name, a point of contact for the organization (meaning the name and phone number for the person seeking the permit for the organization), the desired dates and specific locations (name of business, or at an intersection equipped with a traffic control signal light) for soliciting, an agreement by the organization indemnifying the city and holding the city harmless from any and all claims, suits, demands, damages, and attorney fees arising out of or related to the acts or omission of persons soliciting for the organization. The form may require further information that is reasonably necessary to the direct enforcement of this section and the purposes of this article.

Sec. 46-66. - Restrictions on permits.
All soliciting done under this article must be done in the daylight hours and must be limited to two consecutive days. Other restrictions may be placed on permits according to the safety requirements required by the city police department.
